The underpass is open for traffic.

The Rs 23-crore project began in May 2008 to ease traffic flow from areas like J P Nagar, Puttenahalli and Kothunur. The underpass on 15th Cross, J P Nagar, that intersects 24th and the ring road, was to be completed in 10 months but was delayed by more than a year.
