3B, 3E, 3F - these route numbers that were once popular is almost non existent. 3B - one of the pioneer routes connecting Jayanagar and BSK 1&3rd stages for the last 30 odd years is off road which is hard to believe. The last solo bus that ran for few months (KA 01F 2401) was totally inconsistent with timings and it ran without a proper board many a times. This might have led to low volume of passengers and tickets, however this route always had more regular commuters with passes and of course students. Passes do contribute to collection and they don't come for free. The decision to take this route off just by looking at cash collection is debatable.
There's only one bus 3E (KA 01 FA 0895) currently plying on this route as against at least 5 buses previously on theses 3 different routes. The wait time was 15 - 20 minutes and now it is 3 hours. Is BMTC really helpful? Let's wait and watch. Thanks

srividyanagara, 2nd main road was formed 80' wide by BDA in 1976, now only 40' is the road width, half of it is used for daytime parking of private vehicles. Both side pavements concrete cobbled at a cost of eleven lakhs is either occupied by big tree trunks or hawkers. No place for pedestrians even to walk. This road can well be called 'Bank street' with five banks. commercial area need have only slabs on drains enough for pedestrians with railings fpr protection. Rest of the road space be mde available for smooth traffic, particularly with BMTC buses plying with Volvo buses.

The garbage is being dumped by the people in the open sites and road corner. This does not gets picked up for weeks and with rains around the garbage stinks and lost of mosquitoes breed around. Recently my kid was bitten by mosquitoes and was suspected for Dengue. Pls take some permanent measure to avoid the garbage dumping menace in the open sites & road corners. Also pls instruct the garbage collection vendors to clean up the garbage dumped at such places.

I am a resident of Girinagar 2 phase. Daily we are not having any normal BMTC Bus service during 12Noon-3PM from Girinagr 2 phase/Avalahalli BDA Park towards Majestic/K.R Market & Shivaji nagar. Same problems exists from Majestic/K.R Market & Shivaji nagar to our area during 12Noon-3PM.

As all the bus will go to their respective Depos from 11AM itself there by creating this kind of huge problem especially to bus commuters like Senior citizens,College students and private workers.

This is a ill treatment to our area as i have noticed the normal bus service to other areas like Katriguppe, Kamakya, Hoskerehalli, AGS layout during 12Noon-3PM, So why this kind of step mother treatment has been done to our area.

I have informed CTM(operations)-BMTC about this major bus problem existing in Girinagar 2 phase/Avalahalli BDA Park but there is no action taken from his side.

It is a regular sight for anyone in and around Girinagar/Bank Colony to see a constable and his superior go around collecting 50-100 rupees from street vendors/hawkers each evening (around 8pm or so)... There is absolutely no remorse or shame... I asked the street vendor why he gives this each day and the answer was that he will not be able to do his business otherwise from the next day... This "legalized hafta" system is rampant in these parts. Would like Shantala Damle to put a stop to this...

Orchestra still going on after 10pm. Some Durga pooje thing. I specifically asked for police clearance certificate, and the organizers tried to intimidate me and shoo me away.

I called the Girinagar Police Station, and they told me they would send someone - albeit reluctantly.

So, it's almost 11 now, and the noise continues.

Srividyanagara has been connected to Ring Road by building a new bridge on SWD by BBMP-this has resulted heavy vehicular traffic on second main road both from the bridge and adjoining Nanjundeshwara stores. In addition pavements are always occupied by hawkers and private cars. This 80' road is used althrough the day for parking of private vehicles on both sides. sr. citizens and children find it difficult o use the road as pedestrians. It is suggested vehicle parking be made on alternate days on alter sides of this road so as to enable pedestrians to move freely as well as three-fourth road space becomes available for vehicular movements.

There is a proposal to form/organise RWAs into groups in accordance with MLA jurisdiction, we have 28 such jurisdictions. These when formed will be integrated to zones of BBMP. Ultimate aim is to conduct Ward sabhas regularly, residents participation, build awareness for better quality of life, obtain civic services for which residents are entitled, make Bengaluru a livable city.

Second main road in Srividyanagara, Bsk 3rd stage has not been asphalted for a long time even though other neighbouring small roads have been done bit by bit. After BBMP built a new bridge across storm water drain next to new BMTC terminuss, heavy vehicles are using this road to avoid ring road. There are lot of pot holes, vehicles in avoiding them sped hayway threatening pedetrians, childre, sr citizens going with high speed. urgent action is needed.

Bus Terminus built in Srividyanagara at a cost of four crores, which has taken five years to build, is taking another five years to get inaugurated by the Minister for Transport, he is busy, he is busy cooling his head with state affairs. Why the commuters should suffer, is it not waste of money when the project is complete but not put to use? should we approach RTI even for such matters!
