Power was gone at around 9 pm and no power till 12.30 pm when tried to call 1912 line is busy all the time..

Understand that skyscrapers are going to come in what seems to be the only remaining green patch near jalahalli cross on SM road at what is seen as coconut grove on google map. Can citizens stop such monstrous conversion of natural habitat to unsustainable concrete ?

The only alternate road available to the employees of Peenya and other industrial area in this location is from CMTI to the HMT theater. But, about three years ago, BWSSB dug up this entire stretch. In each day tens of thousands of vehicles are plying in this road. But, BWSSB never put back this road in the original condition.
Recently, there was huge pampering that this road is going to be 4 lane road and they started the work.. but, now that also is stopped.
Besides, recently, once again BWSSB dug up all roads in the Jalahalli village and some of the arterial roads.. but once again left them..
It is requested to make these roads motorable.

In ISRO colony there is improper waste segregation. Only wet waste and dry waste bins are marked and no collection bins for sanitary waste and hazardous waste (electronic items etc). Also there is no proper attention given by local residents' association and it has slack attitude. Waste segregation of dry and wet waste not being done properly. Ward representative and BBMP should apply pressure on resident association to take proper steps for waste segregation.

Sub: Request for Bus Route Deviation in Jalahilli
I am a student and have moved to Bangalore 3 months back. I live in an area completely unserved by the BMTC bus network. My housing complex is 200 steps from Platinum City and National Institute of Design (R&D) campus. The entire stretch of road starting from where the service road touches the Tumkur Road right up till the HMT Ground (next to the HMT Theatre) is not covered by any bus route.
I don’t have any issues with walking but most parts of the road are broken and dusty on this stretch. Also, there is no clear footpath running along on this path making walking on this 2-lane road slightly dangerous.
Ramifications in such a scenario

1. 1. The occupants of the housing societies in this area are forced to purchase a vehicle of their own. While this constrains the pockets of the citizens in this area, the larger issue is that the action cumulatively adds to the city traffic problem.
2. 2. It is extremely unsafe for women walking/cycling/travelling on this stretch.

The street lights in front of the Anganwaadi are not functioning from last 2 weeks. It was informed to the BESCOM people but it was rejected saying the street light topic comes under some contractor and he has to be convinced to repair the street lights.
There is a junction at this point where 3 roads meet (Road from HMT and other going towards Kempegowda Kalyanamantappa). Due to darkness in night it is difficult to ride vehicle. It is dangerous and may lead to accident.
