The vacant land situated between 1st Main and 2nd Main of Chennammanakere Achukattu, BSK 3rd Stage,
(Near the turn of the road to Vidyapeetah-Kamakya-Vidayapeetah Road- Electric transformer) has turned into a dustbin for throwing garbage and other unwanted materials and a free public lavatory for the people.
It is nauseating to see the people urinating in standing pose in front of the vacant site on both sides of the 1st Main Road and 2nd Main Road. For fear of seeing these ugly scenes, the ladies of nearby houses cannot venture out of the houses.
It is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, rodents, snakes etc., and the residents, particularly children and the elderly are put to health hazard. Of late, small and big snakes and reptiles are seen very often in the nearby houses. It shows clearly that the vacant land has become a breeding ground for snakes, reptiles, rodents etc., creating fear among the ladies/children and the elderly people of nearby houses.
You may recollect Modi speaking from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the Republic Day to make India “Swachcha Bharath”. Why does not the Local MLA/MP/or the Corporator take initiative to build free toilets for the passers- by from their MLA/MP/or the Corporator funds on the First Main (Which has wide space ) and spare the residents from this ugly sights? If funds of the MLA, MP and the Corporator pool together, they can turn this vacant site into a beautiful mini park and earn the gratitude and votes from the residents.

CK Achkut: Roads dug up and not repaired for over 6 months now20 Sep, 2013CK Achkut: Roads dug up and not repaired for over 6 months nowBruhat Bangalore Mahanagara PalikeRoads, Traffic & TransportThe roads in chenamanakere achkut (near temple and ground) were dug up sometime during march 2013. Till today there is no tar and daily it is miserable to walk and drive on these half baked roads.
Giving a reason that it is raining is very lame reason not to have tar on the roads. I can see several such tar/repair works happenning around bannerghatta road even though there are rains. Then why can't it be done in this ward.
Requesting the authorities to take quick action on the same and gain the public confidence. -
Encroachment of Footpaths meant for pedestrians16 Apr, 2013Encroachment of Footpaths meant for pedestriansBangalore Traffic PoliceRoads, Traffic & TransportThere is a sizeable number of travel agencies operating in vidyapeeta ward and they park their vehicles on all the main roads and some even park on footpaths. The BTP seems to be hand in glove with these agencies since they dont make any attempt and reducing the inconvenience which is caused to all the residents by such parking.

Damaged slabs above drainage connecting Dankla Field and Srinivasanagar is dumped with waste12 Apr, 2013Damaged slabs above drainage connecting Dankla Field and Srinivasanagar is dumped with wasteBangalore Water Supply and Sewage BoardHealth & SanitationThe drainage connecting Dankla Field and Srinivasanagar is dumped with all material waste as the slabs are damaged which needs to be rectified. As this open space in between slabs is used for washing clothes, urination and spilling of household waste, has become a breeding place for mosquitoes and is a health hazard. Assurances by the concerned representatives and officers are yet to be implemented. Hope before something onward happens, it is rectified to the relief of all the residents.

Roads are digged in Vinayakanagar09 Mar, 2013Roads are digged in VinayakanagarBruhat Bangalore Mahanagara PalikeRoads, Traffic & TransportHello
Roads are digged because drainage works (as i understood) and kept as open in many places and kept closed by mud in some places since 2 months, there is no proper work taken place. Our area is completely dirty & dust environment and dust is coming directly to our houses.
Who is is person should be the responsible for this. Why we elected to you and what we done wrong on you for this punishment !!!!!
Second thing is Roads Name plate kept every cornor of the road, but the address is wrong. Vinayakanagar is under BSK 1st stage, but in board mentioned is 3rd stage. please correct it.
Wherever you people did mistake, unfortunately people money will lost.
What is the accountability you are maintaining ???

Road Widening- Vidyapeeta Road09 Dec, 2012Road Widening- Vidyapeeta RoadBruhat Bangalore Mahanagara PalikeRoads, Traffic & TransportThe vidyapeeta road widening has been a topic which I have been hearing since the last 10 + years and everyday it is a major nuisance with traffic jams from 8.30 am onwards to 10.00 am and also from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm . Is there anyways that there can be a push to enable either traffic reduction or diversion to other routes?

Tar Road and Secondary SWD23 Dec, 2011Tar Road and Secondary SWDBruhat Bangalore Mahanagara PalikeCity AmenitiesIts been long time the roads near Srinivasanagar 1st Main Road and subsequent cross roads had some decent tars. There has been a recent spurt of vehicles occupying the road which makes it difficult for normal residents to park their vehicles.
I observe there is some small drain running just beside Corporation Bank till 3rd Cross Vinayakanagar and then cutting few houses goes to other side of Srinivasanagar. Lots of low income people use them for normal sanitary activities which is putting other residents at risk of health hazards and cleanliness.
Other issue is people dumping all kind of waste and urinating just opposite to Canara Bank ATM. It's a big nuisance. Right from Shankar Nag circle till Corporation Bank there are small pockets of unhealthy shops used by autos and others to just mess up the whole road while occupying the road for parking all day. Please take action on this issue.
