The Brigade Millennium Avenue near Ganesh Temple intersection is full of potholes, making it difficult for vehicles or pedestrians to take left or right at the point. Everyday traffic jam is a common affair here and with potholes it is worse now. The road leading from Ganesh temple towards Panduranga Nagar is even worse, although it has been tarred many, many times in the last few years. Each time the quality of work is poor, and it becomes bad within days.

Heaving rains of April 30th has brought down a tree in Arekere MICO Layout as shown in the map.

Kindly get the tree cleared so the road can be used. Presently the road is not usable and everyone is being inconvenienced.

The Doresanipalya Forest Research Station entrance in Arekere MICO Layout is dotted with garbage thrown by residents living in the layout.

Many times the garbage the cleaned but again it starts. Because of this dogs are always near the gate and opening the bags and spreading the litter.

From Jedimara signal to sarakki signal there is only 3 km but bus is not there in these route. Please consider the request and it will be helpfull for many people.

The roads that were laid newly barely 2 months ago are all full of potholes now. Huge potholes have come up in almost all the intersections damaging vehicles and putting people's lives in danger.

There are no buses from bannerghatta road to banashankari directly. People need to get down at Jayadeva hospital & change buses. There are a lot of people traveling on this route in the morning peak hours. Please start direct buses from bannerghatta road to banashankari TTMC at the earliest

The quality of work done in asphalting this road only a few months ago is so poor that a big section has just collapsed. BBMP needs to do a much better job of monitoring the quality of work its contractors do.

BTP has installed a traffic signal recently at the Royal Meenakshi mall junction on Bannerghatta Road but it is only causing more traffic jams and not solving any real issue. There is large number of vehicles waiting in all directions for green signal and sometimes it takes 3 signal cycles to cross this junction where as one never had to stop when the signal is kept in blinking Orange. At best this signal can be kept in blinking mode all the time except weekend evenings.

There is no direct bus connecting Arekere Gate (bannerghatta road) to Electronic city. Route(378) is crossing via Gottigere to Electronic city which is always crowded.

Presently we have to catch a bus from Arekere gate to gottigere and then route 378 to reach electronic city

I'm from Arakere gate. Everyday I need to commute from Arekere Honeywell stop to Electronic city. There is a bus(Route 378) crossing Gottigere to Electronic city. There is no direct bus crossing from Arekere to Electronic city via meenakshi mall. So I need to take a bus to reach Gottigere and then another bus(Route 378) to Electronic city.

There are lot of residents from Arekere MICO layout bus stand commuting to Electronic city and travelling via silk board junction.

Please arrange a bus route which will start or pass through Arekere gate to electronic city via Meenakshi Mall and another service which will pass through Silkboard junction.

The Arekere MICO layout bus stand can be utilised lot to build new routes. Presently its less utilised.

This layout is lying under developed and there are so many civic issues like no proper street lights,sewage water disposal not proper,safety issues like theft in broad day light and dumping of garbage on the deserted streets of the layout and missing sites in the layout leading to legal disputes among legal title owners of the sites and unwillingness of BDA to solve this.

Arekere 2nd Main Road condition is very pathetic and need immediate attention. The issue stared after dug-up for some pipe laying and not tarred after that. We the residence have big issue on transportation on such Road conditions.

Arekere Bannerghatta Road - the one adjoining BPL factory compound and leading towards L&T South City has been in a pathetic condition for over 2 years. The potholes are so large and numerous that this stretch can hardly be even called a road! While the rest of the roads have been tarred, why has this stretch been left in this condition? When will the authorities take mercy on the residents in this area? This narrow 2 way road is an arterial road for this area.

We are residents of 2nd cross, Arekere, Near Bright Kids Schoool. There is no provision for solid waste dumping on the road and residents are throwing solid waste out in the open resulting in a lot of nuisance. Request the authorities to look into this urgently and place garbage collection cans outside the streets.

Bad Roads in Hulimavu Main Road, the road that goes from Hulimavu Gate Arch to inside Hulimavu.

Road work is pending and remaining since long time in Hulimavu. The condition of road is very bad.

Road work in Hulimavu has to be undertaken by BBMP Arekere Ward immediately.

The junction at bannerghatta road and hulimavu at the corner of meenakshi mall, is highly prone for accidents. Urgently construct 2 Humps on both sides of bannerghatta road.

Provide traffic signal lights.

The sanitary/drinage line is blocked in front of Samarthana School, near someshwara swamy temple, Hulimavu, Banarghatta road, bangalore. Due to this surrounding houses are facing lot of mosquito problems and leading to health issues.

Hi, I am Naveena from #27, 1st Main, 1st Cross, Srinivasulu layout, off BG road, near aradhana school, bangalore 76. No drinage and no kaveri water in our layout. We reached current corporator and MLA we didn't received any result from last 10 years.

The condition of the roads in Thimmareddy Layout, Hulimavu Bangalore is very very bad. In fact there is no road at all, but only mud road. There are only potholes. Request you to look into this and take appropriate measures and lay road in Thimmareddy Layout, Hulimavu Bangalore Thanks.

Road condition near Shanti Dham is the worst. BWSSB has dug up the road but the work has still not finished.

80 ft Double road in hulimavu - opp the hulimavu lake is so badly managed.. One of the sides of that double road is not done tarred at all - we as residents on the road, see a lot of accidents onthat road. there is no proper lighting and the road conditions are so bad - recently 3 students die as bike rams truck coz of poor lighting. some one just skids across and become victim for other vehicles.. we see this every day and nite. pls do take care and help us live peacefully

Hi There are several large complexes such as L&T South City, Brigade, Elite Promanade, Purva Panaroma, Mantri and several others which host a large number of residents. Many residents travel all the way to Electronic City and the commute is very tough. Request you to kindly take this request for a direct bus.

There is no street light from the Mennakshi mall towards Hulimavu Police station. There are construction workers all around and there are residents who walk towards Hulimavu lake side. So, please dont ignore the residents here. Even though there is a police station at the end of the road, we feel unsafe walking through this road. There were incidents of eve teasers in the same area. I'm also a victim and I'm too scared these days while walking back from work.

i live in arekere nerar to Sai baba Temple. There is a underconstruct apartment tirumala Deluxe coming up near to tower. the cell tower is just touching the front portion of the building.

Please remove the cell tower from the place as that place is highly residential and there are three apartments near to that tower.

The survey of Arakere lake to demarcate the land boundary and prevent further encroachment is pending with the Tahasildar, Renvenue dept south Bangalore BBMP. She came to the lake with surveyer on 5th Sep and promised to complete it in a months time. But so far nothing has been done.

Sugama layout which is near DLF new town is facing severe water shortage problem for the past 6 months. The water man is also not giving proper response in terms of supplying water. Kindly take action to expedite this problem.

The Garbage collection guys don't collect the garbage if its kept inside the building main gate. We cant keep the wet waste outside the gate as dogs will scatter it on the whole road if kept on the road sides. Please request them to collect it from the gates. The Arakere lake on Bannerghatta road has completely dried up in the last two years, thanks to massive encroachment and rapid urbanisation. Bangalore South revenue office, Ms Hari Shipla, was there to survey the lake and encroachment. The surveyer marked and showed all the encroachments and promised to release the report in a months time. The fensing of lake is pending because of this, though it has been done on two sides where there is no encroachment. We are awaiting for the complete fensing to be done.

At Arakere MICO Layout there is a narrow road that is adjacent to BPL Bus stop on Bannerghatta Road, which is exactly opposite Honeywell office and this road leads to L&T south city. The local lorry operators park their trucks everyday from the point this road connects to Bannerghatta Road. This leads to traffic jams on this narrow road every day. Kindly help us. Thank you!

Main road connecting from Arakere Gate to Micolayout do not have foot paths. Road is having heavy traffic it is very risky to walk on this road for senior citizens & children. There is space to build foot path, but BBMP is not doing it. Earlier there was a little foot path built by private building owner, now that is also removed by BBMP to build gutter and not closed.

Road leading from Bannerghatta Main Road into Omkar Nagar 3rd cross, from Food World cross need humps. Lot of traffic flows here to avoid Arakere Gate signal. As this is a residencial area vehicles goes here very fastly and honk. And even some time heavy vehicle also come here. Lot Children play in this area and ride bicycles. I Request to put few humps on this road to reduce speed and also put height barrier.

The road is wide but a bulk of it is occupied by private buses and trucks. There is also no footpath resulting in most people using the road to walk on.

FROM BANNERAGHATTA ROAD TO ARAKERE MICO LYAOUT BUS STAND, ( FROM RELIANCE MART SHOPPING MALL) IT IS VERY DIFFICULT DRIVE THE BMTC BUSES, MAINLY BECAUSE OF BOTH SIDE ON THE ROAD NO.OF CAR PARKING AND OTHER VEHCILES ARE PARKED AND THEY LEFT THE VEHICLE AND GONE FOR SHOPPING OR TO EAT ROAD SIDE FOOD HOURS TOGETHER. KINDLY INTIMATE TRAFFIC POLICE TO TAKE THESE TYPE OF VEHICLES TO HELP BMTC BUSES SMOOTHLY AND WITHOUT DELAY TO REACH BUS STAND.

A few truckloads of gravel were dumped on the road (see map) a couple of weeks ago). One presumes that this is for improving the road surface. The old road had a few potholes but it was largely useable, but by dumping the material for the new road, it has become un-useable totally, since the mounds of gravel are blocking the road fully now! There is no point in doing work like this - only gives the impression of a 'materials contract' being carried out, rather than a proper road improvement program.

The new Meenakshi Mall has opened on Bannerghatta Road. BBMP has learned no lessons from the Mantri Mall in Malleswaram, the Brigade Gateway in Rajajinagar, and other such large facilities that have opened previously. Evening traffic to the mall is chaotic, and there are several reasons for this.

(a) There is no proper entry and exit to a facility of such size. When a large mall opens, someone in BBMP should give thought to ease of entry and exit from both sides of the road, and conduct some actual studies to measure these things. And any revisions that are needed should be made part of the building approval.

(b) Mall is collecting money for parking, like other malls. I don't think this is legal. The parking requirements for the mall are set in the building bye-laws, and all builders are required to meet these standards. Putting a price on the parking is a disincentive for some users, which has the effect of encouraging them to park on the streets nearby. All parking fees for spaces mandated by bye-laws should be abolished in the city.

(c) Good to see that the cops are busy issuing fines for vehicles parked illegally on nearby streets. Even better would be to put wheel locks on them, and make them wait for the lock-removal service. Violators must face real inconvenience, rather than just a fine they can afford.
