Kindly request for additional bus service towards Sambhram College from M.S.Palya (Vidyaranyapura) i.e., bus 266....... as lot of residentials has come out in this area but bus frequency is very less and we need to depend on share auto service. Hope this will be considered

There are so many people traveling for work purposes and currently have to change atleast 4 buses to reach which is extremely inconvenient. Hence many people use own vehicle causing more traffic. Please allot buses on this route so more people can benefit.

The Road from Doddabommasandra towards Vidyaranyapura is really pathetic & in a very poor condition as the road is broken for quite some time now. This is making the life of commuters every day very life-risking task. Can some responsible authority in your department take positive steps to put a rally good long-standing, durable road in this place ASAP.

The water supply to 13th cross III Block BEL Layout Vidyaranyapura is terrible. For the last week there has been no supply. Other times we barely get some water once a week. We frequently have to buy tanker water. Going to the bwssb office and complaining has little effect. Sometimes a little supply is sent and then the problem begins again. Please fix the problem for consistent supply on specific days so we can store the water. Thank you.

Roads in IEHCS layout and adjoining BEL layout 5th block were dug up to relay sanitary pipes in January 2014. While the pipes have been layed, the roads have not been levelled and asphalted.
Further, the mud from the dug up road have been dumped in the storm-water drains resulting in snakes entering into household compounds.
The local counselor has been unresponsive regarding this issue.
the dust from the road is causing respiratory problems to the residents.

There is been a Fast activity where the Vidyaranyapura Main Road is being relaid. I see the Trees in that roads are all full covered by Stones and then this would be covered by Tar after that. After this the Trees won't have opening or option for the rain water to go in. please take care and road contractor to leave space for the rain water to go in.

We are facing Hung Mosquito Menace in Vaishanavi Layout Vidyaranyapura due to Sewage Discharge into the Lake.

We need to either Stop the Sewage from being Discharged or Cover Up the Sewage Portion. Also, there is a Huge Stray Dogs Menace in the area.

Kindly look into this at the earliest.

There has been complete black out on the streets of 1st cross, Lakeshore Garden, Thindlu. This apparently happened when one of the residents got some connection altered or so, about 3 days back and ever since the street lights are out.



Without these street lights it has become completely unsafe to walk on them especially during late evenings. Appreciate if this can looked into it urgently and also investigate as to what was the connection change all about. 

Site No. 963/964 in BEL Layout II Block, Vidyaranyapura Main Road (Beside the Bus Stop)is having an eatery in a temporary construction which is unauthorised. They have also taken an illegal Bescom connection. The people who come there for having food, etc. & then urinate on the compound walls of the surrounding houses which causes lot of stench. Hence BBMP officials are kindly requested to take appropriate action to remove this structure.

Streetlight at the intersection of Bullet Krishnappa layout and Netravati bar on the road coming from Kodigehalli towards Thindlu village is not functioning for many weeks now. I've posted an image with its pillar number. Who is the concerned agency to act on this complaint and how many days does it typically take them to do so? Request them to take action at the very earliest.

The connecting road between Vidyaranyapura and Thindlu village center simply does not exist!! There is no tar on the road and it is full of pot holes(as seen in the attached picture). Why has the progress on maintaining this road been so abysmal? Why is the current situation so pathetic and more importantly what is the long term solution to maintaining roads which last long, are easily maintainable and meeting standards?

Not sure what the BBMP is achieving by only tarring part of the road instead of the entire road. One part of the road is still a mess. Are they doing this to save money? Would the residents of vidyaranyapura be able to have a decent road.

Sir, I am resident of Sir MV Layout, 4th Cross, 2nd Main. CMC water is not at all coming to my house, my neighbours are getting the CMC water, but not our house,. It seems the water man as not turning the water wall fully, only for sake, he turns to half round, whose water lines are laid fully down, they are getting the water and not for us. Further, we have a Cavery water connnection also, unfortunately, even that water also not coming even once in a week also, whenever if we ask a water man, he replies water pipe is broken & its under repair. moreover we have a borewell, even that also no water. Hence, I request the concerned authorities kindly look in the matter and if really no water in one borewell, kindly taken an action for linking other borewell water to this 4th cross also, immdiately or intiate an immediate action for atleast supply cauvery water once in alternate days regularly to this 4th Cross, MV layout.

People here is suffering from bad mud road. its very difficult to walk on this road.this is the connecting road to Sir Mv Layout from Tindlu.the concern officer should look into this as soon as possible.

Many houses are being used for prostitution in this locality, including on Vidyaranyapura main road itself, near ketam hospital, yet the police are not doing anything about it.

Today a 20 year-old plant has been chopped off. I have planted this tree. As we all know the environment is getting worse day by day. We would like to know why trees are been chopped off on roadsides, and even if they have been chopped off, is our Govt planning it for replantation? People are dying every day with this bad pollution.

I am sorry to say we call ourselves in urban area,but i think it is as good as living in some drainage area /rural slum area. It is not happening now,From past 5 yrs there is no improvement. The rajkaluve which runs from MS palya stops in the road end ,so during rain or blocakge drain comes to road. Now they have started the construction and there is no peoper connection given to old drainage system. Road is completely under drain water and unable to commute,there is no action taken from corporator or BBMP officials.

In Vidyaranyapura area at Srinidhi Layout new draianage system is under construction. The construction of the drain is about 2 feet above road level. This raise in the drainage height will be above the level of the houses. About 40 to 45 houses will be affected. This will create problem when it rains. The houses wil be flooded and it will become a permenant problem. At present to construct; the drain was dug, the construction work is stopped. and the sewage is stagnating. It has become a breeding ground for mosquitos and the smell is unhealthy. I hope the sensible and knowledgeable authorities will understand the issue and solve the problem at the earliest.

Vidyaranyapura & Ramachandrapura main roads were dug-up close to 2 years back and still work is going on.
Some time back some tar was put on nanjappa road just to please some dignitaries coming for some function.

Also water pipes leakage and wastage of water is daily affair. No solution even after 1 year also.

This issue might have been brought to light earlier but despite all notifications, street dog menace persists to be an issue in vidyaranyapura. Dogs seem to take refuge in the shady regions near the gates of homes and its difficult for kids to go out and play without the fear of being bitten. Even during the late hours, the dogs continue to annoy the residents out of their sleep and force them to take some serious action.

In Sir M.V.layout, cross and main road construction work suddenly stopped after few works. Kindly com plete the work fast as this is causing huge dust pollution due to muddy roads. Also during rains, roads are not at all suiatble for walkers.

So we request to construct fencing and convert as park which will avoid all the problems.

street light is not burning in 6th block 1st main HMT layout is not burning (behind vidyaranyapure last bus stop & opp. to Park) kindly rectify immediately

We are residents of 6th block Vidyranyapura which is located close to the Vidyaranyapura Police station During 2010, there was construction on the GKVK road that started behind our houses, inspite of several protest and disputes and finally HC order to stop the construction of the work. During this period, the wall which was dead end for us between the greenery of GKVK and our houses was broken and thrown open to traffic.



This used to be quite a peaceful area and all we could hear few years ago was sound of birds chirping. Now this has become a road where buses and trucks ply. We are afraid to send our children out to play as this has become a dangerous zone. We made several requests for this unauthorised opening of the wall to be sealed back, but was to no avail.



The additional trouble started when a similar wall that was broken open on a parallel road got barricaded for HTVs, prompting all the traffic to flow on our side of the road. The breaking of the wall has added additional problems of stray dogs and garbage being stewn on the roads.



Sir, could you please put your good offices to action and relieve us of this trouble by closing the road for vehicular access. Sinecerely, Gopakumar Nair

It is observed that Many residents residing in HMT Lay out 2nd Block and 1 block, Vidyaranyapura is burning the heap of dry leaves and the garbage including plastic in the evenings. with this the atmosphere is suffocating and causing allergies like throat irritation, caugh. we stay in the fourth floor of an apartment and it is causing lot of health problem to me and my family. My mother and my daughter of 8yrs is facing lot of problems. our trips to doc has increased because of this menace. Kindly stop this illegal burning of garbage in the resedential areas. some times the burning spot is next to the electric pole and immediately next to the trees. this may also cause fire accidents.

Mud roads need to be Asphalted in 2nd and 3rd cross of A.P.C Layout. Residents are experiencing huge problem due to mud roads; pathetic condition when it rains. Please take necessary steps as soon as possible; before rainy reason appears.

Thindlu adjacent to Maruthi temple is an upcoming residential area. From the BBMP, for sanitation work the roads have been dug - it is good work by them, but present condition of the road is very pathetic, and difficult to commute. Every day many vehicles pass, resulting in heavy dust spreading and settling on the houses. Also it is very unhealthy for the kids and elderly. Surrounding areas have been asphalted but no one knows why only this area has not been touched.

Every day there will be a Cross road accident near 2nd block 8th Main Just Adjusant to mamatha Traders there is a cross road so many two wheelers and cars had met with an accident due this so many of them have lost there legs and some of the badly hurt and mainly school children vans and bussess will also be driving very rashly need to be addressed ASAP. As you dont find any Speed breakers in this please i request you please make an arrangement to lay an spead breaker to avoid such accidents further.

Street lights in between the roads are not functioning. lights only the entrance and end of the road are working.

Stray dogs have increased in huge number at Vaishnavi Layout and 6th Main BEL Layout leading to huge problems for commuters. People are unable to walk on the streets safe with these stray dogs chasing and biting them. Even kids are not able to play outdoor safe as these dogs come in huge troops chasing each other and barking.........
