In past few there are frequent power cuts in weekdays and its for minimum 2 hours and sometimes goes on for 4 hours at a stretch and today the power cut started at 12pm and still not up. Due to this Work from home is getting impacted. Please take necessary actions.

After kanteerava Studio Junction Towards Laggere cross, people will come in one way direction so its very difficult to move in that direction in peak hours so please depute one Traffic police to avoid traffic jam...They are lot of employes are moving in this road to go at intime to their offices.

Hi Team, Most of the streetlights from the main road to our flat are not working and needs bulb replacement and so request you to take action at the earliest. Once its dark its very unsafe to walk as there is no other building from the main Kanakapur Road to our flat and especially unsafe for women. The exact location is from Coca Cola godown to the Sobha Hillview apartment complex.

Everybody comments over here to complain, criticize & condemn BBMP. But I would like to appreciate BBMP for their efforts to tackle the problem of garbage disposal. It's good to hear the announcements made in the mornings by BBMP trucks or vechicles asking people to be more responsible with disposing of garbage or waste. Requesting people to segregate solid waste & house old kitchen waste separately.



I stay near Gorguntepalya area. I'd like to share a few ideas which can help to popularize this campaign & to impact this program in a better way.



1) continue with these announcements by BBMP vechicles even during evenings around 7pm & collect the garbage also.



2) Stick posters near the places where garbage or waste is being littered, thrown away or dumped, warning of strict action against whoever violates the systemetic waste disposal method - should read some thing like this "Whoever is found throwing garbage in this place will be fined 1000 Rs & BBMP has the right to put the garbage back into the guilty person's compound & the person behind bars if necessary.



3) Encourage people to walk up to garbage pick up van & deposit the waste at the time when the garbage pick up vechicles arrive near their residences. & eventually after a period of time make it compulsory as well.



4) Ensure the vechicles wait for about 5-10 min across every cross roads in a particular locality which would give ample time for people to come down and deposit the garbage, especially for the ones staying in or above 3rd flr buildings.



5) A unique music should be played indicating people that the vechicle has arrived & its time to deposit the garbage. But play music which isn't harsh , a melodious one will do but have to stick to it, which should be like a clock's alarm which stays unchanged or better to stick to the existing announcements stuff.



6) Have also heard of people especially women who go near garbage dumps & search for things like coconut shells & stuff thereby littering & making the place more untidy & difficult to walk through those roads. This should be stopped.



7) Its time we Indians are taught about cleanliness & hygiene. What better city & place to start it from than the "Garden city". Let BBMP be a role model to the rest of the country .
